Kia Sales Malaysia has unveiled its “Bold and Progressive” vision for the future of mobility at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, presenting a diverse showcase of global models, electrified mobility solutions and enhanced ownership initiatives designed to strengthen the customer experience.
Taking place from 12 to 21 June 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the Kia Pavilion brings together innovative vehicle technologies, sustainable mobility solutions and interactive experiences under a unified strategy aimed at meeting the evolving needs of Malaysian motorists.
Kia Highlights Future Mobility at KLIMS 2026
Kia’s presence at KLIMS 2026 is anchored by four global models — the Kia EV4, Kia EV5, Kia PV5 and Kia K4 — alongside the Kia Carnival and Kia Sportage. Together, the line-up demonstrates the brand’s commitment to offering a broad spectrum of mobility solutions across different body styles, technologies and customer lifestyles.
Kia Sales Malaysia President and CEO Hyung Ho Kim described the showcase as an important milestone for the company, reflecting Kia’s international vision and commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions for the Malaysian market.
Meanwhile, Managing Director Emily Lek highlighted the launch of Kia TotalCare, describing it as the brand’s most comprehensive ownership promise to date and a reflection of Kia’s confidence in both its products and customer support services.
Kia K4 Makes Malaysian Debut
One of the key attractions at the pavilion is the first Malaysian appearance of the Kia K4, presented in GT-Line specification.
Designed around Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, the K4 combines sporty styling with everyday practicality. Powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 193 PS and 265 Nm of torque, the sedan is engineered to deliver a balance of performance, comfort and refinement.
Inside, the vehicle features Kia’s Integrated Panoramic Display, which combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 5-inch climate display and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control and ventilated front seats further enhance the driving experience.
The K4 represents Kia’s continued commitment to the sedan segment while incorporating the latest connectivity and convenience technologies.
Spotlight on Electric Vehicles and Future Mobility
The Kia EV4, EV5 and PV5 form the centrepiece of the company’s electrified and future mobility showcase.
Built on Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV4 represents the next generation of Kia’s electric mobility strategy. Featuring a front-mounted electric motor producing 150 kW and 283 Nm of torque, the EV4 offers a driving range of up to 612 kilometres under the WLTP cycle. It also supports ultra-fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 29 minutes when connected to a 350 kW charger.
The Kia EV5 further reinforces the brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility. Combining practicality, comfort and environmentally conscious materials, the SUV delivers up to 230 kW and 480 Nm depending on variant, while offering a WLTP driving range of up to 540 kilometres. The model also features advanced technologies including dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless connectivity, fingerprint authentication and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Meanwhile, the award-winning Kia PV5 highlights Kia’s vision beyond conventional passenger vehicles. Developed on the dedicated E-GMP.S Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) architecture, the PV5 is designed for commercial, logistics and lifestyle applications. The model has already earned international recognition through multiple industry awards and global design accolades.
Kia Carnival and Sportage Continue to Impress
Alongside the future-focused models, visitors can also explore and test drive the Kia Carnival and Kia Sportage, both of which are currently available through authorised Kia dealerships nationwide.
The Kia Carnival continues to showcase its versatility with seven-, eight- and eleven-seat configurations, making it suitable for families and business users alike. Powered by a highly efficient diesel engine, the MPV is capable of travelling more than 900 kilometres on a single tank under WLTP testing conditions while delivering 202 PS and 440 Nm of torque.
The Kia Sportage, offered in Malaysia as a long-wheelbase model, remains one of the brand’s most distinctive SUVs. Available with either a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine or a 1.6-litre turbocharged powertrain, the Sportage combines striking design with modern performance and practicality.
An Immersive Kia Pavilion Experience
Beyond the vehicles themselves, the Kia Pavilion has been designed as an immersive brand experience that blends mobility, technology and culture.
Visitors can participate in FIFA World Cup-themed interactive games, enjoy test drive experiences and explore travel inspiration through Kia’s collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). The partnership aims to strengthen cultural connections between Malaysia and South Korea while providing visitors with tourism information and travel opportunities.
The pavilion also features an AI-driven visual art installation created by Malaysian digital artist Max Jala, offering a unique fusion of technology, creativity and visual storytelling throughout the exhibition.
Kia Introduces TotalCare Ownership Programme
A major highlight of Kia’s KLIMS 2026 participation is the introduction of the Kia TotalCare Programme, a comprehensive ownership initiative designed to provide greater peace of mind and long-term value for customers.
Building on the momentum of Kia’s recent ownership experience and maintenance initiatives, the programme extends support beyond the traditional ownership period commonly associated with vehicle purchases.
Customers who book eligible Kia models between 1 and 22 June 2026 and complete vehicle registration by 31 August 2026 will receive a range of benefits, including an eight-year warranty, eight years of complimentary servicing, eight complimentary tyres, an exclusive cash rebate and complimentary first-year insurance.
In addition, customers who place bookings during the promotional period will also stand a chance to win prizes including trips to Seoul, South Korea, and Samsung smartphones.
Strengthening Kia’s Commitment to Malaysia
Through its participation at KLIMS 2026, Kia Sales Malaysia continues to reinforce its long-term commitment to the Malaysian market by combining innovative products, electrified mobility solutions and enhanced ownership experiences.
From the debut of the Kia K4 and the showcase of next-generation electric vehicles to the introduction of Kia TotalCare, the brand’s presence at KLIMS 2026 reflects its ambition to deliver mobility solutions that are progressive, customer-focused and aligned with the future of transportation.
