Building its lead within premium electrified mobility, BMW Group Malaysia also successfully retained its position as the Number One Premium Electric Vehicle Provider in the country for the sixth year, with over 2,700 fully-electric BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles delivered, accounting for 25.2% of all deliveries for the year.
Within the group portfolio, the BMW brand delivered over 7,700 premium vehicles, MINI Malaysia recorded over 1,500 vehicle deliveries, and BMW Motorrad delivered over 1,600 premium motorcycles.

This progress was supported by an expanded charging ecosystem with over 2,000 charging facilities nationwide, alongside the unveiling of the All-New Locally Assembled BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport Pro, the first-ever fully-electric BMW vehicle assembled in the Asia-Pacific region.

BMW Group Malaysia continues to strengthen Malaysia’s position as a strategic hub in Asia Pacific through vehicle exports, infrastructure investment and talent development. Key initiatives include the construction of a new Vehicle Distribution Centre in Selangor and ongoing partnerships with local institutions through programmes such as BMW NextGT.
The introduction of the first locally-assembled fully-electric BMW vehicle in the Asia-Pacific region underscores the Group’s confidence in Malaysia as a manufacturing hub for premium electric mobility.
