Building a Circular and Connected Ecosystem
Founded to address structural gaps in Malaysia’s fashion landscape, MyFashionChamber focuses on creating sustainable links between talent, trade, education, and global market access. The Chamber champions advocacy, visibility, capacity building, and international collaboration to foster a thriving fashion ecosystem.
“We’re not just launching a Chamber, we’re launching a movement,” said Jay Ishak, CEO and Co-Founder of MyFashionChamber. “Malaysia’s fashion industry has soul. What it needs now is structure, support, and scale.”
Strategic Partnerships for Resilience
A key initiative of the Chamber is its partnership with Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad, reinforcing its commitment to building a resilient and sustainable industry.
“Allianz General is proud to stand alongside MyFashionChamber in empowering Malaysia’s vibrant fashion industry,” said Sazali Abd Rahman, Deputy Chief Sales Officer at Allianz General.
The collaboration includes the Allianz Business Shield Package Insurance and a specially designed coverage plan—FROC (Fashion Risk & Operational Coverage)—to protect fashion entrepreneurs.
Additional recognitions include partnerships with Halal Korea, IBE-UiTM’s Sustainable Fashion Hub, and the Malaysia SME Media Group.
Supporting Talent Locally and Globally
MyFashionChamber offers brand partnerships, mentorships, and global exposure for designers and artisans. Notably, it hosted a Ramadan gathering in March 2025 with founding members and stakeholders, supported designer Arlina Amdan at Abu Dhabi Modest Fashion Week 2025, and led a Malaysian designer delegation to Amsterdam’s International Fashion Weeks 2025, featuring brands like Yani Bakhtiar, Arlina Ayou, and Casalwa.
Upcoming activities include a nationwide Fashion Educational Tour, participation in the Korea Halal Trade & Economic Expo 2025, and serving as Strategic Partner for Modest Fashion at MIHAS 2025.
Vision for a Global Fashion Future
The Chamber is determined to position Malaysia as a global fashion hub by fostering international partnerships, creating export pathways, and ensuring Malaysian talent is visible on world stages.
