Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO: V8 Performance for the Track

At the heart of the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ Coupé is an AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine producing 450 kW, or 612 hp, and 850 Nm of torque.
The engine produces 20 kW more power than the AMG GT 63, while maximum torque has increased by 50 Nm. Power is transmitted through the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission.
The coupé accelerates from zero to 200 km/h in 10.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 317 km/h. Its 0–100 km/h acceleration time is 3.2 seconds.
The model is also engineered with racetrack performance in mind. Its enhanced cooling system features additional radiators in the front wheel arches, while the drivetrain’s differentials and transfer case are actively cooled. Revised air guides and brake cover plates also direct more airflow towards the brakes to help manage temperatures under heavy loads.
Aerodynamics and Handling Sharpen the Driving Experience

Mercedes-AMG has also reworked the GT 63 PRO’s aerodynamics to improve its handling at speed.
The redesigned front apron incorporates additional air deflectors, while the vehicle features an active aerodynamic profile in the underbody, AIRPANEL active air control and an aerodynamics package with a fixed rear wing.
Together, these measures reduce aerodynamic lift on the front axle by more than 30kg and increase rear-axle downforce by around 15kg. Additional underbody air deflectors, inspired by the Mercedes-AMG ONE, further help manage airflow.
The vehicle is equipped with AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilisation, rear-axle steering of up to 2.5 degrees and fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.
An AMG ceramic high-performance composite braking system with six-piston fixed callipers at the front and 420mm brake discs is designed to deliver strong braking performance and resistance to fading under heavy braking.
Motorsport-Inspired Design
The GT 63 PRO’s exterior further emphasises its motorsport character, with 21-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels, black-painted brake callipers and the AMG Night Package II.
An AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre package adds carbon-fibre elements to the front splitter, side sills, diffuser and fixed rear wing. Inside, AMG Performance seats in Nappa leather and MICROCUT microfibre are paired with a carbon-fibre steering wheel, AMG carbon-fibre trim and yellow seat belts.
The cabin also features Mercedes-Benz’s MBUX multimedia system, comprising a 12.3-inch driver display and 11.9-inch central display, alongside a head-up display, augmented-reality navigation and AMG TRACK PACE for analysing lap, sector and acceleration times on closed circuits.

For collectors, Mercedes-AMG is also offering a Motorsport Collectors Edition limited to 200 vehicles worldwide. Based on the GT 63 PRO, the edition features an obsidian black finish, PETRONAS-coloured exterior accents and a combination of AMG Carbon Fibre, Night and Aerodynamics packages.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ Coupé is priced from an estimated RM2,088,888 in Peninsular Malaysia, while the Motorsport Collectors Edition is estimated at RM2,588,888.
AMG Enters the Electric Performance Era

Alongside the V8-powered GT 63 PRO, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has previewed the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé, which is based on the high-performance AMG.EA architecture.
The electric performance model uses three axial-flux motors and delivers up to 860 kW, equivalent to 1,169 hp, with maximum torque of 2,000 Nm.
It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a 106 kWh battery, offering an electric range of up to 697km under the WLTP testing cycle.
800-Volt Battery and Rapid Charging
The AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé’s AMG High Performance Electric Battery combines newly developed cylindrical cells, direct cooling for each individual cell and an 800-volt architecture.
The system is designed to support high continuous power, rapid energy absorption and stable performance under sustained loads.

With suitable charging infrastructure, the AMG Performance Charging system supports DC charging at up to 350 kW. The vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in around 16 minutes at 350 kW, according to the manufacturer’s figures.
Mercedes-AMG has also developed AMGFORCE S+, a driving programme designed to provide an immersive V8-inspired experience in the electric vehicle. The system uses more than 1,600 sound files to dynamically recreate elements of a high-performance V8 soundscape according to driving conditions.
Software Meets High-Performance Driving
The electric GT 63 4-Door Coupé features the AMG RACE ENGINEER system, which coordinates the vehicle’s powertrain and driving-dynamics systems.
Its AMG RACE ENGINEER Core manages functions including the drive system, recuperation, energy, charging and thermal management, while the AMG RACE ENGINEER Control Unit allows drivers to adjust response, agility and traction characteristics.
The vehicle also features AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL air suspension with semi-active roll stabilisation and active rear-axle steering of up to six degrees. At speeds of up to 80 km/h, the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels for greater agility, while above 80 km/h they steer in the same direction to enhance stability.
Electric Performance with Grand-Tourer Comfort
The electric AMG GT’s exterior combines a low-slung fastback silhouette with a long bonnet, steeply raked windscreen and active aerodynamic elements.
