Tealive is gearing up to capture a larger share of Malaysia’s coffee market with a limited-time Orange Coffee series launched in conjunction with the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix weekend at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
The Malaysian beverage brand is adding a citrus twist to its “high-octane” coffee with two new drinks, Orange Americano and Orange Latte, combining coffee beans sourced from Ethiopia, Indonesia and China with orange juice.
The new drinks will be available at Tealive outlets nationwide from 1 October to 29 October, coinciding with International Coffee Day.
A Three-Country Coffee Blend

The Orange Coffee series is built around a blend designed to balance different flavour profiles.
The formulation comprises 60% Yunnan beans for chocolate depth, 20% high-altitude Ethiopian arabica for bright fruit notes and 20% Sumatra-grown Mandheling for a smooth finish.
According to Tealive, the combination creates a complex cup that shifts from fruity to nutty notes, offering a depth typically associated with multiple single-origin coffees.
The Orange Americano combines coffee with sweet orange juice for a refreshing profile featuring natural acidity and fruity notes. Meanwhile, the Orange Latte blends espresso, orange juice and milk for a creamier alternative.
From Tea Brand to Coffee Contender
Tealive’s latest launch forms part of its broader effort to offer customers more choices beyond its core tea offering.
Loob Holding Sdn Bhd Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bryan Loo said the Orange Coffee series was designed to give customers a different kind of caffeine experience while attracting more coffee lovers to the brand.
“Coffee has always been part of Malaysians’ daily routines, and we want to give them more choices when they come to Tealive,” he said. “This series allows us to offer our customers another reason to choose Tealive when they want coffee, not just tea.”
Tealive currently operates more than 1,000 outlets worldwide and serves more than five million consumers per month in Malaysia.
Orange Coffee Meets F1 Weekend

The launch will also receive an F1-themed push through a special Tealive pop-up store at the SIC Mall from 2 to 4 October, giving F1 fans an opportunity to try the new Orange Coffee series during the race weekend.
Customers who purchase any two Orange Coffee drinks at the pop-up store during the F1 weekend will receive limited-edition Tealive merchandise, while stocks last.
Continuing Tealive’s Innovation Drive
For Loo, the Orange Coffee series reflects Tealive’s wider approach to menu innovation as the brand continues exploring new ways to remain relevant to consumers.
“For us, innovation is about constantly finding new ways to stay relevant to our consumers,” Loo said. “From FMCG and ready-to-drink products to sparkling drinks and refreshing our menu, we continue to explore what comes next. Orange Coffee is the latest expression in this journey.”
With its latest limited-time launch, Tealive is bringing together coffee, citrus flavours and the excitement surrounding Formula 1 as it continues to expand its beverage offering in Malaysia.
