Juris Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (JurisTech) has deployed the end-to-end lending technology platform underpinning Proton Capital Sdn Bhd, PROTON’s newly launched automotive financing business — completing the implementation in just 3.5 months.
The platform enables Proton Capital to manage the financing lifecycle from originating customer financing through to the management of loan contracts, providing the technology foundation required to operate and scale its new financing business.
Proton Capital was launched on 21 September with conventional hire-purchase financing for new PROTON vehicles through 12 participating PROTON outlets in the Klang Valley to provide complete and straightforward applications that can receive an initial financing decision within one working day.
Technology built for automotive financing
The technology deployed for Proton Capital is part of JurisTech’s wider lending platform, which supports financial institutions across digital onboarding, origination, credit decisioning, loan management, collections and recovery.
JurisTech was recently named Asia’s Best Lending Solution at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, recognising its technology across the credit lifecycle.
“Proton Capital wasn’t simply implementing a new lending system, it was launching a new financing business. That requires a technology foundation capable of supporting the financing lifecycle from origination through contract management, with the controls and flexibility needed to grow. We are very proud that our teams were able to deliver that foundation in just 3.5 months,” said See Wai Hun, CEO and Co-Founder of JurisTech.
“As automotive financing becomes more closely integrated with the vehicle-purchase journey, technology needs to support both customer experience and the underlying financing operation. The same platform can support Proton Capital as it introduces new products and serves different customer segments over time.”

Financing closer to the point of purchase
JurisTech’s enterprise solutions support financing models including automotive finance marketplaces in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Its international work also includes credit assessment and digital onboarding capabilities for global automotive companies.
JurisTech was also named a Representative Provider in the 2024 Gartner® Innovation Insight: How Ecosystems Drive Lending Transformation and Asset Growth. The report examined the role of technology and partnerships in emerging lending models that enable economic ecosystems.
Proton Capital brings financing into the vehicle-purchase process, closer to the point at which customers need it. For many Malaysians, access to a vehicle is closely linked to employment, business and everyday economic activity.
Supporting Proton Capital’s next phase
At launch, Proton Capital offers conventional hire-purchase financing for new Proton vehicles and plans to roll out more products progressively.
“By bringing financing closer to the ownership process, we can progressively develop solutions for different customer groups and make the experience more integrated, efficient and responsive to their needs.”
Song Tao, CEO of Proton Capital
