The highly anticipated WE2025: Future in Motion – Women in Trade, Investment, and Leadership is gearing up for its debut as Malaysia’s largest entrepreneurial summit for women, aiming to catalyse inclusive growth and women’s economic empowerment.
Spearheaded by Qube Integrated Malaysia in collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development and supported by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, the event will be held from 25 to 27 November 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC). WE2025 targets 10,000 participants and is expected to facilitate RM100 million in potential trade and investment.
Driving Women’s Economic Empowerment
WE2025 is designed as a public-private partnership to strengthen the national SME landscape and support women-led enterprises. Women currently make up over 20% of Malaysia’s business owners, and WE2025 aims to advance their role in driving the economy forward through networking, policy dialogue, and strategic collaboration.
“WE2025 will be a landmark event for women leadership and entrepreneurship in Malaysia – the largest of its kind,” said Jessie Tan, Managing Director of Qube Integrated Malaysia. “It’s about creating outcomes, building cross-border partnerships, and showcasing inclusive innovations that will define the future of women in trade, leadership, and investment.”
Berjaya Food Berhad Joins as Corporate Sponsor
Berjaya Food Berhad joins WE2025 as the corporate sponsor, continuing its commitment to inclusion and empowerment through initiatives that provide career opportunities for the Deaf community and support women from B40 households through upcycling and education programmes. The company’s involvement aligns with its long-term sustainability goals and reinforces its dedication to uplifting underserved communities.
The announcement also introduced several new strategic partners, including the National Council of Women’s Organisations Malaysia (NCWO), Peniagawati, Polity, Ekonomi Rakyat, the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce Women Entrepreneurs Committee, and the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA Malaysia).
