XIAMEN, China, May 14 2025 — The 2025 Fujian Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is now open for registration, offering global innovators the chance to showcase groundbreaking projects and gain entry into one of China’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems. Hosted by the Talent Work Leadership Office of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, this prestigious competition aims to attract top-tier overseas professionals and accelerate the development of Fujian’s strategic emerging industries.

Competition Format and Timeline

The event unfolds in four stages:

  1. Registration (May 10 – July 10, 2025)
  2. Preliminary Review (July 2025 – Online Evaluation)
  3. Final Round (Early September 2025 – Live Pitch in Xiamen during CIFIT)
  4. Awards Ceremony & Industry Engagement

Finalists will be invited to present their projects in-person during the China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, followed by networking sessions and industry tours with potential investors and ecosystem partners.

Substantial Rewards & Long-Term Support

Winners will be eligible for generous cash prizes:

  • First Prize (3 projects): ¥150,000
  • Second Prize (6 projects): ¥100,000
  • Third Prize (15 projects): ¥50,000
  • Excellent Awards: ¥20,000
    (All awards are pre-tax.)

To further incentivize project localization in Fujian, the competition provides long-term talent and financial support.

  • First-prize winners may be classified as Category B High-Level Talent, eligible for up to ¥1 million in settlement subsidies.
  • Second and third-prize winners may qualify as Category C High-Level Talent, with subsidies up to ¥500,000.
  • Selected projects may also be considered for the Hundred Talents Program for Entrepreneurship, which offers additional subsidies of up to ¥2 million.
