MINI Malaysia has introduced the new MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition, a limited-edition model created to celebrate 25 years since the first modern MINI rolled out of Plant Oxford in the United Kingdom.
Limited to just six units nationwide, the special edition pays tribute to the city where a new chapter of the MINI story began, combining the familiar character of the MINI Cooper S with exclusive Oxford Edition details and British-inspired styling.
The edition celebrates MINI’s heritage while reinforcing the individuality and distinctive character that have made the marque an automotive icon.
Born in Oxford, Made to Stand Out
The MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition brings its British heritage to life through a collection of exclusive exterior and interior design elements.
The exterior is defined by a distinctive Union Jack graphic on the roof and bonnet, accompanied by Oxford Edition hub caps with matching valve caps. The rear signature also features Union Jack detailing, creating a cohesive visual identity inspired by the brand’s British roots.
Inside, the Union Jack theme continues through several exclusive touches. The steering wheel badge carries the Oxford Edition identity, while the entry sills and floor mats feature Union Jack detailing.
An Oxford Edition key cap completes the package, extending the special-edition design language to even the smallest details.
Six Units, Three Exclusive Colours
The six MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition units available in Malaysia will be divided across three exterior colours: Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue and Blazing Blue.
Each colour is limited to just two units nationwide, adding to the exclusivity of the special edition.
The limited allocation is designed to appeal to MINIacs looking for a model that combines MINI’s familiar driving character with a stronger connection to the brand’s heritage.
MINI Lifestyle Oxford Capsule Extends the Experience
The Oxford Edition experience will extend beyond the vehicle with the MINI Lifestyle Oxford Capsule, which will be available from early October 2026.
The curated collection features everyday items carrying the edition’s British character, including a MINI Traveller Bag, unisex T-shirts, a cap, MINI Oxford stickers and the MINI Umbrella Walking Stick.
Finished in dark blue to complement the Indigo Sunset Blue exterior option, the collection incorporates Union Jack-inspired details and allows MINIacs to carry the brand’s heritage into their everyday lives.
MINI Ownership Comes With Added Support
The MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition is covered by MINI Malaysia’s five-year Roadside Assistance programme, which provides 24-hour, 365-day accident and help support, as well as towing services.
Where required, the programme can also provide a replacement vehicle, accommodation, mobility services and vehicle repatriation when customers are more than 200km from their residential home.

The model also comes with a standard two-year warranty, with an optional repair and service extension available for customers seeking additional coverage.

MINI Malaysia’s Relax. We Care. programme brings together a range of services designed to provide a more seamless ownership experience.
The programme includes the MINI Service Promise, MINI Proactive Care and MINI ConnectedDrive. MINI Proactive Care uses real-time sensor data to identify potential functional errors before they occur, with alerts delivered through the My MINI App or iDrive.
Meanwhile, MINI ConnectedDrive provides digital connectivity and enables features including over-the-air software updates and real-time vehicle management through a centralised interface.
The MINI Service & Repair Inclusive (MSRI) programme provides four years of unlimited-mileage warranty coverage and four years or 60,000km of service coverage. For battery electric vehicles, service coverage extends to six years with unlimited mileage, alongside an eight-year high-voltage battery warranty.

The recommended retail price for the MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition is RM289,888 on the road, without insurance.
Customers can also opt for the MINI Repair & Service Inclusive Package, bringing the price to RM300,288.
Through the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, monthly instalments start from RM2,773, based on an estimated 75% loan over a five-year tenure.
Alternatively, the Straight-Line Financing Plan starts from RM3,219 per month, based on an estimated 75% loan over a seven-year tenure.
