Advanced Accumulators, a joint venture between VXI Crest, YSK Marketing and FJ Union, has launched the region’s first Battery Subscription Program. This initiative aims to transform fleet management by replacing traditional ownership with a smarter, subscription-based model.
The transport sector loses an estimated USD 3.3 billion every year due to unexpected vehicle downtime costs. The new program directly addresses this challenge by guaranteeing 100% battery uptime and reducing operational risks.
Smarter Batteries, Stronger Fleets

The new IoT-enabled smart starter batteries come equipped with app and dashboard access, live updates, remote functions, and borderless connectivity. Using Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) technology, these batteries store up to 400% more energy than lead-acid alternatives at less than half the weight.
“Our batteries are not just smarter, they make fleets more efficient and environmentally friendly. We are the first in Malaysia and the region to introduce subscription-based connected batteries for commercial vehicles,” said Dennis Yong, Co-Founder & CEO of VXI Crest.
He also ensured that operators are guaranteed 100% battery uptime at the same ownership cost they would normally incur on replacing failed starter batteries.
Redefining Costs and Sustainability
YSK Marketing Founder, Raymond Tee emphasized that fleet owners no longer need to worry about battery lifespans since Advanced Accumulators monitors and maintains them. Meanwhile, FJ Union Battery Auto Service Founder, Neo Yu Lian, noted that the subscription model reduces premature battery disposal, promotes sustainability, and ensures full utilisation.

The system also integrates with VxI Connect, an advanced fleet management dashboard. Businesses gain real-time insights into vehicle health, routes, fuel use, and maintenance needs. Drivers can even jumpstart over-discharged batteries through the app without roadside assistance, cutting downtime and saving up to three litres of fuel per hour per vehicle.
Driving Southeast Asia’s Battery Future
The global fleet management technology market is forecasted to hit USD 30 billion by 2030, growing at 12% CAGR. Positioned for regional leadership, Advanced Accumulators plans to power over 10 million vehicles and scale to 60,000 connected vehicles annually through partnerships, including PT PolarG in Indonesia and United Motor Works Siam in Thailand.
With its innovative subscription program, Advanced Accumulators is redefining how businesses view batteries – not as unexpected expenses, but as predictable, scalable and sustainable solutions for fleet mobility.
