Kuala Lumpur, 8 May 2025 – iCAUR, the next-generation off-road New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand created through a strategic partnership between Chery and SmartMi Tech, has officially launched in Malaysia at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, marking its first entry into the ASEAN region.
Unveiling three appearance-striking fully electric SUVs—the iCAUR 03, iCAUR 03T, and iCAUR V23—the brand aims to redefine electric mobility by merging innovation, individuality, and adventure. The iCAUR 03 will be the first model to go on sale in Q3 2025, with estimated prices starting at RM145,000 (2WD) and RM155,000 (iWD).

iCAUR 03: Electrifying Versatility for Urban Explorers
Designed with iCAUR’s bold ‘i-BOX’ design philosophy, the iCAUR 03 features:
- 2WD Variant: 135kW rear motor, 220Nm torque, 65.7kWh LFP battery, up to 426 km range (NEDC).
- iWD Variant: Dual-motor setup with 205kW, 385Nm torque, 69.8kWh battery, up to 418 km range (NEDC).
Key technology suites include:
- iCARE: Reinforced aluminium multi-cage structure and battery armour for maximum safety.
- iROAD: Six terrain-selectable drive modes and off-road stability control.
- iBRAND: Premium features such as a 12-speaker INFINITY sound system and 540-degree Transparent Chassis camera.
The SUV also integrates the i-VA digital cockpit, which includes a 15.6-inch central screen and 9.2-inch instrument cluster, plus Level 2.5 ADAS, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Emergency Lane Assist. With 80kW DC fast charging, the battery charges from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
