Kuala Lumpur, 11 November 2025Siemens Malaysia reaffirmed its leadership in driving Malaysia’s industrial transformation as the Foundation Sponsor of the Selangor Techsphere Summit 2025, taking place from 11–12 November at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Modelled after Germany’s renowned Hannover Messe, the summit serves as a premier platform for industry, academia and government to converge on innovation, sustainability and digital transformation.

The Siemens Pavilion is centred on four core pillars: IT/OT convergence, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Twins and a dynamic Partner Ecosystem. Visitors get to experience how these elements come together to enable industries that are smarter, more resilient and sustainable.

Through IT/OT convergence, Siemens showcases how the seamless integration of information and operational technologies delivers visibility and control across energy systems, buildings and production floors.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) adds another layer — transforming data into real-time insights for predictive maintenance and intelligent automation that boost efficiency and sustainability.

With Digital Twins, Siemens demonstrates how virtual replicas of physical assets and processes allow businesses to simulate, analyse and optimise operations before making real-world decisions — saving time, cost and resources.

The Pavilion also highlights Siemens’ Partner Ecosystem, — an interconnected network of technology providers and integrators working together to deliver industry-specific solutions across key sectors such as water treatment, data centres, semiconductor manufacturing and rail & transportation.

The partners featured at this Summit are: Certech IA, Orange Leaf Consulting, Scheinen, Ener Tech Solutions, Cosmos Instruments and CNC Design.

During the Summit, Siemens and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly advance Smart Factory readiness and workforce upskilling in alignment with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030.

The partnership aims to make digitalisation more accessible and impactful for manufacturers of all sizes, supporting FMM’s 3,000 Smart Factories initiative through training programmes, Smart Factory Readiness Assessments and collaborative industry events designed to accelerate technology adoption nationwide.

Tindaro Danze, President and CEO of Siemens Malaysia, said “Our participation at the Selangor Techsphere Summit and collaboration with FMM reinforces Siemens’ commitment to Malaysia’s manufacturing community. We are enabling manufacturers to embrace digitalisation and smart factory technologies that enhance efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness — helping Malaysia advance towards its goals under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030.”

Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai, President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), added “This partnership with Siemens represents a meaningful step forward in accelerating Smart Factory adoption among Malaysian manufacturers. Together, we are helping businesses gain the skills, tools and technologies required to transition toward the next generation of manufacturing — one that is digital, sustainable and globally competitive.”

By combining Siemens’ global expertise in automation and digitalisation with FMM’s industry reach, both organisations are helping shape a connected, future-ready manufacturing ecosystem that supports Malaysia’s long-term industrial transformation goals.
