KUALA LUMPUR, 21 AUGUST 2026 - The three-day BMW golf invitational at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club welcomed 360 golfers and showcased the all-electric BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport Pro alongside BMW’s premium mobility portfolio.

BMW Group Malaysia brought the spirit of Sheer Driving Pleasure to the greens with The Art of Driving 2026, an exclusive BMW golf invitational held over three days at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC).

Welcoming a total of 360 golfers, the event celebrated the shared values of luxury, precision and performance that define both the sport of golf and the BMW brand.

Where golf meets Sheer Driving Pleasure

Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, said golf was a sport defined by precision, passion and performance — values that have shaped the BMW brand for more than five decades in Malaysia.

“Golf is a sport defined by precision, passion and performance, the very same values that have shaped the BMW brand for over five decades here in Malaysia. The Art of Driving 2026 is more than just an event; it is an experience that unites the thrill of sport with the joy of driving,” he said. “Just as every golf swing demands control and finesse, every BMW vehicle is crafted to deliver the perfect balance of power, elegance and accuracy on the road.”

The invitational brought together the experience of premium motoring and golf, creating an environment for participants to connect with the BMW brand beyond the road.

BMW showcases its premium mobility portfolio

The Art of Driving 2026 also gave participants a closer look at BMW Group Malaysia’s premium mobility portfolio.

The all-electric BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport Pro, BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence and BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro were presented as part of a curated vehicle showcase highlighting the brand’s continued focus on electrification, modern luxury and dynamic performance.

The presence of MINI and BMW Motorrad further expanded the event’s representation of the BMW Group’s premium lifestyle and mobility offering.

BMW iX3 marks a new era of electric driving

Anchoring the showcase was the BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport Pro, positioned as the first of a new era of Sheer Driving Pleasure and a forward-looking statement of BMW’s electric future.

The model also reinforced BMW Group Malaysia’s commitment to Technology Openness and the Power of Choice, giving customers the freedom to select the drivetrains and mobility solutions that best suit their needs, lifestyles and journeys.

The focus on electric mobility at The Art of Driving 2026 reflects BMW Group Malaysia’s wider direction as the automotive industry continues to evolve towards new technologies and forms of premium mobility.

Enhancing the premium ownership experience

Beyond its vehicle line-up, BMW Group Malaysia highlighted its dedicated customer offerings, “Relax. We Care.” and “All In. Simply Smart.”

“Relax. We Care.” is a comprehensive ownership programme designed to provide greater peace of mind through proactive services, real-time diagnostics and seamless customer support.

An immersive BMW experience on and off the course

The Art of Driving 2026 extended beyond the vehicle showcase, with BMW Group Malaysia creating an immersive brand presence throughout KLGCC.

The experience began at the arrival area and personalised registration journey before continuing through on-course branding, hospitality touchpoints and the lunch programme at The International Gallery.

The curated experience was designed to create meaningful moments of connection, discovery and shared passion, reinforcing BMW Group Malaysia’s commitment to delivering Sheer Driving Pleasure beyond the road.
