PLUS issues travel time advisory for Chinese New Year
Plus Expressways Berhad (PLUS) has issued a travel time advisory (TTA) to ensure smooth traffic flow during the "balik kampung" exodus in conjunction with the Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration which falls on Jan 23 and 24.
Ban on heavy vehicles on roads during Chinese New Year
The Road Transport Department (RTD) has announced a ban on heavy vehicles from using all roads for four days during the Chinese New Year in 2012. The ban will take effect on January 21-22 and January 28-29, 2012. The objective of the restriction is to reduce accidents caused by heavy vehicles and keep the traffic flowing.

PM to launch aid programme for Tanjung Lumpur fishermen, families
KUANTAN, Jan 18 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is scheduled to launch an aid programme for about 5,000 fishermen and their families in Kampung Tanjung Lumpur near here on Saturday, Tanjung Lumpur state assemblyman Datuk Wan Adnan Wan Mamat said Wednesday.
