Festival Do’s and Don’ts for a Safe Experience

In conjunction with the upcoming celebration, members of the public are also advised to observe a set of recommended “Do’s and Don’ts” to ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

The Do’s

Festival-goers are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for a water-based event, including wearing suitable footwear.

They are also reminded to be respectful of others by maintaining personal space and looking out for fellow attendees. They are also encouraged to capture and share their festival moments responsibly on social media by tagging @rainrave.my and @malaysia.truly.asia across all social media platforms and including the hashtags #VisitMalaysia2026, #MalaysiaTrulyAsia, #CutiCutiMalaysia, #WaterMusicFestival, #SurrealExperiences, #rainrave2026 and #vm2026.

To ensure safety and order, attendees are reminded that inappropriate or revealing attire is discouraged in consideration of a public, family-friendly environment. Dangerous items, including sharp objects or weapons, are strictly prohibited, while the use of alcohol or illegal substances is not allowed within the event area.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in designated festival zones. Water guns or excessive splashing activities are also not permitted, as the event features controlled water effects only.
