Rolls-Royce has once again redefined the meaning of Bespoke luxury with the unveiling of Spectre Bailey, an extraordinary, one-of-one electric coupe inspired by a Labrador–Golden Retriever mix named Bailey. Commissioned by long-standing Rolls-Royce clients from the United States, this heart-warming creation stands as a joyful celebration of loyalty, artistry, and the emotional power of design.
A Masterpiece of Emotion and Craft
Spectre Bailey was curated through the Rolls-Royce Private Office in New York, a by-invitation-only space where the marque’s most exclusive commissions are conceived.

“We saw the opportunity to create something beautiful that would remind us of Bailey for decades to come,” said the commissioning clients. “Spectre Bailey is everything we hoped for — a joyful tribute to our loyal companion.”
The result is a stunning electric super coupe that merges cutting-edge craftsmanship with deep personal sentiment — a reminder that Bespoke is not just about opulence, but about meaning.
A Coat of Character: Exclusive Paintwork Inspired by Bailey
Rolls-Royce artisans at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood developed a unique two-tone exterior finish, combining Crystal Fusion with Beautiful Bailey, a soft, warm hue inspired by the dog’s fur. The Coachline, hand-painted in Rose Gold, bears an exact replica of Bailey’s paw print — a subtle yet playful nod to his personality.

Even the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine gleams in matching Rose Gold, bringing a touch of warmth and harmony to the vehicle’s exterior.
An Interior Tailored with Love

Inside, Spectre Bailey continues its narrative of affection and artistry. The cabin is wrapped in Moccasin and Crème Light leather, with Dark Spice and Casden Tan accents reminiscent of Bailey’s colouring. Yet the true centrepiece lies between the rear seats — a lifelike marquetry portrait of Bailey, painstakingly assembled from over 180 individual pieces of veneer.
It took over four months to complete this miniature masterpiece, with artisans selecting nine different veneers across 22 natural shades, each chosen for its unique grain and tone. Even Bailey’s tongue was crafted from four rare woods — Purple Heart, Tulipwood, Louro Faia, and Pear — giving the portrait lifelike warmth and texture.
The passenger panel and door sills feature further tributes: Bailey’s paw print appears again, in marquetry and as a Rose Gold engraving, revealed when the doors open — a quiet, touching moment for those who step inside.
A Testament to the Power of Bespoke
“For Rolls-Royce, one of the great joys of a Bespoke commission is becoming immersed in the client’s world,” said Phil Fabre de la Grange, Head of Bespoke at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “Spectre Bailey reaffirms that inspiration can come from anywhere — even the love shared with a loyal friend.”
Spectre Bailey encapsulates Rolls-Royce’s unwavering dedication to craftsmanship, personal storytelling, and emotional resonance. It stands as a testament to the marque’s philosophy that luxury is most profound when it reflects the individual.
More Than a Car — A Celebration of Connection
Spectre Bailey is not merely a vehicle; it is a rolling work of art and a heartfelt expression of devotion. From its meticulously crafted details to its deeply personal story, it exemplifies the limitless possibilities of Bespoke design.
With Spectre — the marque’s first all-electric super coupe — Rolls-Royce demonstrates that sustainability and soul can coexist beautifully, ushering in a new era where emotion, craftsmanship, and innovation drive the future of luxury mobility.
