Kuala Lumpur, December 3 – The SME Association of Malaysia, through its Young Entrepreneurs Bureau, successfully held Corporate Visit & Networking Day at Pantai Hospital Ampang today.


This was followed by an opening speech by Dr. Chin Chee Seong, National President of the SME Association of Malaysia, who underscored the strategic significance of forging closer ties with healthcare institutions.
“The collaboration between SMEs and private hospitals opens new pathways for innovation, operational excellence, and shared value creation. As the healthcare sector continues to evolve, there is tremendous potential for SMEs to contribute solutions, technology, and expertise,” he said

She delivered an insightful sharing session focusing on the hospital’s operations, management approaches, patient-centric strategies, and future priorities. Participants gained valuable insights into the hospital’s operational models, quality standards, and key areas where external collaboration could bring mutual benefit.

Key Highlights
A key highlight of the programme was the guided hospital tour and Cath Lab visit, led by Ms. Hung Wei Wei, Affiliate Management Manager of Pantai Hospital Ampang. Participants were given a first-hand look at the hospital’s facilities, technological capabilities, and critical care infrastructure. The detailed walkthrough allowed attendees to better appreciate the hospital’s operational excellence and its commitment to patient safety and clinical quality.
The visit also featured productive networking sessions with the hospital’s management team to explore collaboration opportunities across areas included digital healthcare solutions, procurement, operational support services, wellness programmes, and community engagement initiatives.
Participants received a complimentary basic health screening and consultation, followed by a networking luncheon that facilitated deeper connections between SME representatives and healthcare professionals.
