Kuala Lumpur, 9th December, 2025 – Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced two new locally assembled SUV models. The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC and the Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 4MATIC—expanding its range of electrified and combustion-engine offerings produced at the Pekan plant. The models strengthen the brand’s presence in the premium SUV segment and reflect its commitment to providing customers with broader powertrain options.
The new GLE 400 e 4MATIC is the first plug-in hybrid GLE offered in Malaysia. It pairs a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined system output of up to 280 kW and 650 Nm. The vehicle offers up to 114 km of all-electric driving (WLTP), making it suitable for both urban and longer-distance use. Key features include AIRMATIC suspension, the latest MBUX infotainment system, the Driving Assistance Package and the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera.
The model’s design incorporates the AMG Line exterior with 21-inch AMG wheels, MULTIBEAM LED headlamps and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, the cabin provides seating for five with ARTICO/MICROCUT upholstery, open-pore wood trim, a wide dual-display layout and THERMOTRONIC climate control. The GLE 400 e 4MATIC is priced at MYR 498,888 on the road without insurance.
The new GLC 200 4MATIC expands the GLC range in Malaysia with a mild-hybrid powertrain. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, combined with a 48-volt system and integrated starter-generator, produces 150 kW (204 hp) and 320 Nm. The model is equipped with AGILITY CONTROL suspension and offers stable, efficient performance for daily and long-distance driving.
The GLC 200 4MATIC features the AMG Line exterior, 20-inch AMG wheels, LED High Performance headlamps and aluminium-look running boards. Its interior includes ARTICO upholstery, lime wood trim, a 12.3-inch driver display and an 11.9-inch central touchscreen with MBUX Navigation Premium and Augmented Reality. Convenience and safety features include KEYLESS-GO, wireless charging, Active Lane Keeping Assist and the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera. The model is priced at MYR 329,888 on the road without insurance.
