In a heartfelt address, ACCCIM President Datuk Ng Yih Pyng thanked media practitioners for their vital role in amplifying the voice of Malaysia’s business community and helping shape policy discussions that support economic growth and resilience.
“Tonight is our heartfelt gesture of gratitude — to thank each and every one of you for the invaluable support you have rendered to ACCCIM over the years,” said Datuk Ng, acknowledging the consistent collaboration between the media and ACCCIM.
A Critical Voice for Business

As a national-level chamber representing the interests of Chinese business associations across Malaysia, ACCCIM continues to champion key economic issues on behalf of its members. Datuk Ng underscored the media’s important role in ensuring that ACCCIM’s views are accurately communicated to the public and policymakers alike.
“Your professional coverage helps amplify our concerns and influence policy directions which can impact the business ecosystem in Malaysia,” he noted.
Celebrating a Shared Milestone

A key highlight of the evening was the recognition of media contributions during the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, a landmark event hosted by ACCCIM. The convention brought together global Chinese business leaders for three days of dialogue, collaboration, and innovation.
“I was informed that there are more than 200 writeups from our media friends throughout the whole convention,” Datuk Ng said. “You have definitely played a crucial role in amplifying the significance of this historic event and making it a tremendous success.”

“Whether it’s digital transformation, compliance, finance, or soft skills, the Academy aims to help ensure that businesses have access to a trained and capable workforce to support sustainable growth,” he said. He added that the chamber hopes to leverage media influence to drive awareness and participation in this new initiative.
A Call for Continued Collaboration

Reiterating the importance of a strong media-business relationship, Datuk Ng urged the media fraternity to continue walking alongside ACCCIM in its journey.
“We sincerely hope the media fraternity will continue to walk alongside us by offering your steadfast support, maintaining the strong rapport we have built over the years, and helping us amplify the right messages to the public and policymakers,” he said.
