Kuala Lumpur to welcome 20,000+ visitors and 350 exhibitors showcasing EVs, connected mobility, and sustainable automotive innovations.

Malaysia will showcase its role as a global hub for next-generation mobility at the Global Automotive and Technology Expo (GATE) 2025, held 12–14 November 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The event will gather 350 exhibitors and more than 20,000 trade visitors from Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. It will highlight electric vehicles (EVs), connected mobility, autonomous technology, and sustainable automotive solutions, reinforcing Malaysia’s growing influence in the EV ecosystem.

Derrisen Sdn. Bhd. is organising the expo with the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii). The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) endorses the event, while partners such as Proton, Perodua, and GWM lend support.

A Catalyst for ASEAN’s Automotive Growth

ASEAN’s EV market could reach USD6.3 billion by 2025 and rise to USD100 billion by 2035. Strong policies and rising investment drive this growth. GATE 2025 creates a platform where OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors, and technology firms can collaborate, explore supply chain opportunities, and present sustainable mobility solutions.

Key highlights include the OEM–Vendors Automotive Exchange (GATE Connect). Here, global manufacturers will outline sourcing priorities to ASEAN vendors. The MARii–PwC Automotive Industry Conference will also explore semiconductors, hydrogen mobility, smart manufacturing, and AI-driven vehicle systems.

More Than an Expo: Building Tomorrow’s Leadership

“GATE 2025 will be our proving ground, where innovation meets opportunity and global players engage with local champions,” said Azrul Reza Aziz, CEO of MARii.

“This is more than an exhibition—it’s a platform for Malaysia to strengthen its global competitiveness, increase localization, and accelerate the transition towards net zero mobility.”

Attendees can also join networking sessions, technical seminars, and business matching programmes. These activities give participants fresh insights, valuable partnerships, and access to ASEAN’s booming automotive market.
