Kuala Lumpur, 24 June 2025 — The Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 officially opened today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marking its 15th anniversary with a forward-looking focus on sustainability and innovation. Organised by the Malaysian Gifts & Premium Association (MGPA), this milestone event welcomes over 16,000 visitors, solidifying its position as the largest and most influential gifts and premium industry event in Malaysia and the ASEAN region, as recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records.

A Growing Platform with a Regional Reach

MGPA President Mr. Ivan Loo emphasised the event’s journey over the years:

“Over the past 15 years, the Malaysia Gifts Fair has evolved from a local exhibition into ASEAN’s premier platform for the gifts and premium market.”

“This year, we proudly take it a step further by leading the industry toward a sustainable and responsible future.”

Organising Chairman Mr. Alex Chai also shared his vision:

“The Malaysia Gifts Fair 2025 is more than just an event — it’s a movement. We’re proud to create a platform where businesses can showcase their commitment to sustainable innovation and drive meaningful change across the industry.”

Regional Participation and Record-Breaking Recognition

Building on the momentum of nearly 14,000 attendees in 2024, this year’s fair aims to exceed expectations with over 16,000 visitors, including top corporate buyers and decision-makers from countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, and Bangladesh.

In a proud moment for MGPA, the 15th edition has not only continued its streak of national recognition but also secured a spot in the ASEAN RECORDS. The fair is now officially titled the Largest Gifts and Premium Trade Fair in ASEAN, featuring:

  • A total area of 58,110 square feet
  • 301 booths
  • 22 product categories within the business gifting industry

Industry Milestones and Regional Collaboration

Adding further significance to this year’s fair are two landmark events:

  1. The official launch of the ASEAN Gifts & Crafts Federation (AGCF)
  2. The AGCF Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony

These milestones reinforce Malaysia Gifts Fair’s role as a regional hub, promoting collaboration, industry growth, and unity among ASEAN’s gifts and crafts communities.
