iCAUR Malaysia has officially launched the iCAUR 03, the country’s first fully electric off-road SUV. Priced from RM119,800, the C-segment model is designed to pioneer the adventure battery electric vehicle (BEV) category, offering a blend of rugged performance, advanced safety, and long-range practicality.
Vice President of iCAUR Malaysia, Emily Lek, highlighted that the brand’s philosophy, “Born to Play”, is at the core of every model:
“These vehicles are built for explorers, trendsetters, and the young at heart. Malaysia is our first global market, and today marks the start of a new era for adventure-ready EVs.”
Design, Engineering, and Safety Excellence
Measuring 4,406mm in length and built with the brand’s i-BOX design language, the iCAUR 03 combines bold styling with capability. Its aluminium body and monocoque chassis deliver 31,882 Nm torsional rigidity, surpassing many modern sports cars, while the iCARE safety system offers protection through a 4-layer IPX8 battery armour and anti-corrosion coverage lasting up to 30 years.
The SUV is available in two variants:
- 2WD: 135kW motor, 65.7kWh battery, up to 426km range.
- iWD: Dual-motor system with 205kW power, 69.8kWh battery, up to 418km range.
Both support 80kW DC fast charging, 6.6kW AC charging, and include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability to power devices directly.
Features for Comfort and Connectivity
Inside, drivers are greeted with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 processor, a 9.2-inch digital cluster, and seamless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Premium options include a 12-speaker INFINITY audio system, ventilated and massage seats, and up to 1,238 litres of boot space.
Safety is strengthened with ADAS Level 2, offering features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and more.
Ownership Benefits and After-Sales Support
To enhance ownership, iCAUR Malaysia offers a 7-year/150,000km vehicle warranty and 8-year/160,000km battery and drive unit warranty, alongside the iCARE Insurance Programme, which covers EV wallbox chargers, portable charging cables, and provides unlimited towing.

Towards Local Assembly and Wider Reach
Initially imported as a CBU, the iCAUR 03 will enter local assembly in January 2026 at Chery Corporate Malaysia’s Shah Alam plant. iCAUR Malaysia also plans to establish 18 points of sale and nine service centres nationwide by September 2025, including in Sabah and Sarawak.
