Strategic collaboration introduces eKYC and global anti-fraud technology to strengthen security and transparency for digital gold investors

CTOS Data Systems, Malaysia’s leading credit reporting agency and digital solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GB Gold Sdn Bhd to enhance digital trust and customer protection on the GB Gold investment platform.

The partnership will see the integration of CTOS eKYC solutions and Group-IB’s global anti-fraud technology, offering users stronger identity verification, fraud detection, and a seamless onboarding experience. The agreement was formalised at The Ruma Hotel & Residences in Kuala Lumpur, witnessed by representatives from both organisations.

Lee Shin Mei, Chief Operating Officer of CTOS Digital Berhad, said:

“This collaboration reflects our mission to deliver regulatory-grade eKYC and cybersecurity solutions that protect both businesses and end users in today’s fast-evolving digital environment.”

Echoing this, Tuan Shahfizzam Moideen, CEO of GB Gold, emphasised that trust is the cornerstone of financial platforms:

“By integrating CTOS eKYC and Group-IB’s anti-fraud tools, we are safeguarding our customers while ensuring a transparent and reliable gold investment journey.”

This initiative aligns with national efforts to drive digital financial inclusion, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible investing, particularly as more Malaysians turn to alternative digital investments. With this partnership, GB Gold aims to set a new benchmark for secure, Syariah-compliant gold trading in Malaysia.
