CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (“CIMB Islamic”) clinched three top honours at the Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC) Awards 2024, reinforcing its role as a leader in Malaysia’s Islamic finance sector.

The bank secured the Best Financial Partner (Overall) award, the highest distinction under CGC’s Financial Institution Partner Awards. The recognition reflects CIMB Islamic’s strong risk management, active involvement in public-private financing, and commitment to inclusive financial solutions that support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

In 2024 alone, the bank approved 1,266 financing accounts worth RM694.4 million, with nearly one-third directed to Bumiputera businesses.
