The new adventure motorcycle sets a new benchmark in long-distance touring, combining enhanced performance, cutting-edge technology, and uncompromising comfort to deliver an exceptional riding experience on any terrain.

A New Era of Adventure Touring
At the heart of the All-New BMW R 1300 GS Adventure lies a redesigned 1,300 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine—BMW’s most powerful production boxer engine to date—delivering 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. With a more compact engine layout featuring a newly positioned transmission and camshaft arrangement, it offers optimized performance and space efficiency.
BMW ShiftCam technology ensures a smoother ride with enhanced fuel efficiency and torque across the rev range, while a lightweight stainless-steel 2-in-1 exhaust system further amplifies power delivery.
The 30-litre aluminium fuel tank—an entirely new design—provides extended range, while cross-spoked wheels with aluminium rim rings enhance off-road capability.
Innovation in Ride Dynamics and Handling
The chassis has been completely reengineered with a steel sheet metal main frame and aluminium lattice tube rear frame to maximize rigidity. The EVO Telelever and EVO Paralever systems further improve handling precision and comfort across all terrains.
The Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) and adaptive vehicle height control provide fully automatic adjustment to suit riding conditions—ensuring maximum comfort and agility whether riding solo or with passenger and luggage.
