Halal in One Programme expands into digital platforms to boost SME growth, market access, and visibility in Malaysia’s halal economy
Alliance Islamic Bank (AIS) is taking its “Halal in One Programme” to the next level by partnering with leading social commerce platforms to help halal businesses and SMEs reach wider audiences and thrive in Malaysia’s fast-growing digital economy.
The initiative aims to support businesses in high-demand sectors such as beauty and personal care, food and beverages, and other halal-certified products by enhancing their online visibility and sales opportunities. As part of this expansion, AIS is also participating in Megasales 2025, a flagship campaign by a top social commerce platform, to connect entrepreneurs with halal certification, funding, and market access.
Launched in 2020, the “Halal in One Programme” offers entrepreneurs an end-to-end solution covering halal certification facilitation, tailored financing via the Halal in One Financing Programme, and advisory services. By integrating social commerce into its outreach, AIS enables halal businesses to accelerate growth in the competitive e-commerce space while reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a global halal hub.
Rizal IL-Ehzan Fadil Azim, Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Islamic Bank, said:
“With millions of users, social media has become a powerful tool for businesses to scale their products and brands. For SMEs in the halal space, this is an opportunity to compete more effectively and grow faster. Through Halal in One, we’re equipping them with the right tools, resources, and market access to succeed.”
