Australia, 27 January 2026 — Asendia announced the launch of SendNow, a purpose-built international shipping platform designed specifically for SME e-commerce businesses across Australia. The launch addressed growing demand from Australia’s rapidly expanding community of online retailers, with 66% already engaging in international sales.

With more than 100,000 active small and medium e-commerce businesses in Australia and a projected growth of 8% in 2025, SendNow by Asendia provided an accessible solution for businesses shipping between 1 to 500 parcels per month. The platform combined transparent pricing, simple self-service setup, and direct integrations with major e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, and WooCommerce.

SendNow was designed for three key customer segments: ambitious small and SME business owners, agile marketplace sellers operating across multiple channels, and established domestic brands ready to scale internationally.

“Australian small businesses are leading the charge in cross-border e-commerce, with 94% actively working to expand into new international markets. We felt that there was an SME dedicated solution missing in the market that allowed e-tailers to expand with no minimum volume. SendNow by Asendia has been built from the ground up to remove the complexity and cost barriers that have traditionally held back smaller shippers. We’re giving ambitious Australian entrepreneurs the same professional logistics capabilities as much larger retailers,” said Lou Milicevic, Managing Director, Asendia Australia, on the launch of SendNow by Asendia

The platform addressed key pain points identified by small shippers, offering multiple drop-off and collection options through PARCELPOINT drop-off points powered by HUBBED, easy-to-use label creation tools, comprehensive tracking and reporting, and quick-response customer support. For international delivery, SendNow by Asendia was backed by Asendia’s global carrier network and delivered to more than 200 destinations worldwide.

SendNow by Asendia was built with Parcel2Go, a UK-based courier comparison and delivery service, and synced order, label, and tracking data across storefronts in real time. Its built-in automation layer handled customs pre-clearance as well as duty and tax calculation, removing manual steps that typically slowed international shipping and logistics.

The launch came as international expansion became increasingly critical for Australian e-commerce success, with 90% of online business leaders viewing an international presence as essential for future growth.

“We’ve built SendNow with a deep understanding of what small business owners need,” added Lou Milicevic. “From transparent live rates and simple onboarding to seamless platform integrations and 24/7 support, every feature has been designed to make international shipping as straightforward as domestic delivery.”
