Located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, the office houses teams from Zoho and ManageEngine, two major divisions within the company. The move aligned with Malaysia’s ambition to be a regional centre of excellence for the digital economy, as the country’s growing AI ecosystem continued to gain momentum. Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation had onboarded 140 AI solution providers into the Malaysia Digital AI ecosystem, generating MYR 1 billion in revenue, supported by initiatives such as MyDIGITAL and the National E-Commerce Strategic Roadmap.
Demand for SaaS solutions continued to rise across sectors, including FinTech, e-commerce, healthcare, education, logistics, and manufacturing, with AI, automation, cybersecurity, and compliance-focused platforms gaining traction. Zoho and ManageEngine reiterated their commitment to supporting Malaysia’s digital economy ambitions through secure, accessible, and scalable enterprise technology.
“As Malaysia enters a more critical phase of digital maturity, businesses are putting more emphasis on technologies that are not only powerful but also secure and easier to adopt,” said Gibu Mathew, vice president and general manager for APAC at Zoho Corporation. “Our aim is to be present among the local SMEs, enterprises, partners, and government agencies and effectively support them in embracing AI, cloud technologies, and modern workplace solutions.”
In 2025, Zoho strengthened its investment in Malaysia through a strategic partnership with Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd to roll out the Zoho for Startups programme via the MYStartup Single Window platform. Through this initiative, Zoho committed over MYR 30 million in software to support 3,000 startups with access to an integrated and scalable suite of business solutions. This commitment was highlighted at Zoholics Malaysia 2025, where Zoho demonstrated AI-powered enhancements across its software suite for Malaysian business users.
With AI adoption increasing alongside cyber incidents — resulting in more than MYR 1.22 billion in losses in Malaysia from January to October 2024 — ManageEngine emphasised the importance of secure digital infrastructure.
“ManageEngine’s mission, as part of Zoho Corporation, is to make digital transformation simpler for our customers by helping them build and operate robust, resilient, and secure digital infrastructure. Expanding our local presence is central to that mission, allowing us to work more closely with customers and partners in addressing complex, enterprise IT needs. The opening of our Kuala Lumpur office reinforces our long-term commitment to Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region, and our focus on supporting customers here more closely,” said Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine.
The Malaysia office also began serving as a hub for skills development, workshops, training programmes, and community events to help customers and partners strengthen digital and cybersecurity competencies. ManageEngine’s growing presence in Malaysia for over a decade was reflected through initiatives such as the ManageEngine UserConf Southeast Asia 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, supporting local SMEs, enterprises, and government-linked organisations. The new office represented the next chapter in Zoho Corporation’s continued commitment to sustainable, affordable, and secure digital growth in Malaysia and the region.
