Kuala Lumpur, December 3, 2025 –Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today introduced the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4MATIC Night Series, a new variant featuring customized finishes, dark design elements, and detailed craftsmanship. The Night Series adds a distinctive appearance to the S-Class while maintaining the model’s established design characteristics.

If the original Mercedes-Maybach S-Class focuses on delivering a high level of comfort, the Night Series version introduces additional design and styling elements. It features dark chrome accents, light-reflective surfaces, and interior updates that differentiate it from the standard Maybach design.
An expression of distinction
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Night Series is available in a range of paint finishes including grey, black, and white hues, as well as exclusive two-tone combinations such as onyx black/Mojave silver and MANUFAKTUR opalite white bright/obsidian black.
These painting options are complemented by fine details that set the design apart. Rose gold elements within the DIGITAL LIGHT headlights and dark metallic chrome accents create subtle highlights, while the elongated silhouette is further defined by twin tailpipe trims in dark chrome and black.
The signature Maybach character is reinforced through dark shadow gloss finishes across the exterior. This can be seen on the radiator shell, front bumper covering, Mercedes star and chrome bonnet trim, door handles, Maybach emblem on the C-pillar, and longitudinal trim strip. At the rear, the same finish is applied to the Mercedes star, “Maybach” lettering, model badge, and boot lid trim. The look is completed by high-gloss black finishes on the beltline, window surrounds, B-pillar, and mirror housings.
Further distinction is expressed through illuminated door sills with “MAYBACH Night Series” lettering, 20-inch Maybach 7-spoke light-alloy wheels in black and dark shadow gloss with integrated aerodynamic elements, and a vehicle key in high-gloss black with dark shadow gloss trim frame.
Craftsmanship in every detail
The interior of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is known for its high level of luxury, and the Night Series variant introduces additional features such as Black with Black Pearl nappa leather upholstery. This upholstery includes a mother-of-pearl effect and golden-grey glossy piping, offering a distinct visual and textural variation.
The cabin also includes a “Garnet Glow” colour scheme for the active ambient lighting, contributing to a warm and modern atmosphere. Dark brown open-pore walnut wood MANUFAKTUR trim in a herringbone pattern is used throughout, and the centre console incorporates a black crystal-look finish with a Maybach pattern.
Additional elements include centre air vent housings in dark shadow gloss at both the front and rear, creating a consistent design theme throughout the interior. The Night Series also features a start-up animation for the user interface, designed to align with its stated “Black labels and backlights” concept.
