The MRCA Branding Education Charity Foundation continues its annual tradition of giving back, brightening Deepavali for underprivileged children with festive cheer, compassion, and generosity.

Bringing Festive Joy to the Community

The MRCA Branding Education Charity Foundation celebrated the spirit of Deepavali by visiting the Shelter Home for Children (SHELTER 1) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, as part of its annual Festive Charity Visitation 2025 programme.

The initiative reflects MRCA’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility, while spreading festive joy among underprivileged children.

During the visit, the foundation donated RM20,000 in cash and kind to support the Shelter Home’s daily needs, welfare, and educational initiatives. In addition, each child received a festive red packet filled with blessings and encouragement for the season.

Creating Smiles Through Acts of Kindness

Adding an extra dose of happiness, Marrybrown, a proud MRCA member, sponsored a special Deepavali meal for the children. The visit was made even more memorable by the cheerful appearance of Marrybrown’s mascot, who delighted the children with laughter and fun interactions throughout the day.

The visitation saw the participation of several prominent MRCA leaders, including the Chairman of the MRCA Branding Education Charity Foundation Dato’ Liaw Choon Liang, President Datuk Dr. Ken Phua, Honorary Lifetime Presidents Datuk Albert Chiang, Dato’ Tay Sim Kim, Datuk Seri Garry Chua and Ms. Shirley Tay, along with Organising Chairman Mr. Jordan Ng, Treasurer-General Ms. Aiveen Wong, Deputy Treasurer-General Ms. Christine Tan and Council Member Mr. Liang Foo Kuan.

Their collective presence demonstrated MRCA’s shared mission of giving back to society and promoting kindness, compassion and inclusivity through meaningful outreach efforts.
