The MB Platinum 5 plan brings fast, on-demand charging, car care, and roadside assistance directly to customers’ doorsteps, redefining EV ownership in Malaysia.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has teamed up with Power-Up (P.UP) by Nazamax Malaysia to launch a new mobile EV charging subscription for EQ owners. The partnership introduces the MB Platinum 5 plan, a first-of-its-kind service that delivers DC fast charging of up to 120kWh directly to a customer’s doorstep.

The plan offers more than charging. Subscribers also receive on-site car grooming, vacuuming, tyre shine, and emergency roadside assistance. In addition, customers can schedule up to five sessions each month through the P.UP mobile app. Each session provides up to 80% state-of-charge, while extra perks include waived service fees and parking credits.

This collaboration marks an important step in expanding Malaysia’s EV ecosystem. It tackles one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption – reliable charging access. At present, Mercedes-Benz EQ drivers in Penang and Klang Valley already enjoy the service. Meanwhile, Johor Bahru will come online in Q1 2026. By the second half of 2026, the service will expand across Peninsular Malaysia, ensuring wider access.

“We are committed to enhancing the overall ownership experience for our EV customers. The collaboration with P.UP exemplifies our vision to provide not just cutting-edge vehicles, but also comprehensive service solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers, while contributing to the national EV goals of expanding charging accessibility,” said Edmin Naidoo, Vice President of Customer Services, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia & SEA II.

P.UP also emphasised the positive reception from early adopters. Furthermore, the company highlighted its ambition to roll out the service nationwide and play a larger role in Malaysia’s transition to greener mobility.

As part of its “Luxury of Choice” strategy, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia continues to offer a full range of drivetrains, including ICE, PHEVs and BEVs. Importantly, it is also ensuring that EV customers have the infrastructure and support required for a smooth shift to sustainable driving.
