Malaysia’s leading lifestyle tea brand unveils premium D24 creations and Durian Beats Festival, uniting fans of the King of Fruits this Merdeka season
Tealive, Southeast Asia’s top lifestyle tea brand, has introduced a special Durian Limited-Time Offer (LTO) series this Merdeka season, celebrating Malaysians’ love for the King of Fruits with three bold new drinks crafted from premium D24 durians.
Now available at Tealive outlets nationwide, the range features:
- Snowy Bang Bang Durian Milk Tea (RM13.90)
- Bang Bang Durian Milk Kaw Kaw (RM13.90)
- Jasmine Durian Light Milk Tea (RM11.90)
The official launch will take place at the Durian Beats Festival on the 22nd of August at Lanai@Matic, Jalan Ampang, as part of the Hari Kebangsaan Hari Malaysia (HKHM) 2025 celebrations themed “Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni”. Headlining the festival is Khairy Jamaluddin, former Cabinet Minister and popular co-host of the Keluar Sekejap podcast, who will perform a special DJ set alongside music, comedy, and cultural showcases.
Bryan Loo, founder and CEO of Loob Holding, said the durian series pays tribute to a national icon while appealing to modern tastes.
“Durian is one of Malaysia’s unifying symbols, instantly recognisable and celebrated here and abroad. This Merdeka season, we’re capturing that pride in drinks that are bold, distinctive, and unmistakably Malaysian.”
The durians are sourced from orchards in Bentong, Raub, Tangkak, and Gua Musang, ensuring a steady supply across harvest seasons. Tealive aims to sell over 500,000 cups during the campaign, but views the real success as the conversations the drinks inspire. For non-durian fans, Tealive is also offering seasonal corn drinks to ensure everyone can join in the celebration.
To extend the experience, Tealive is launching limited-edition 3-in-1 sachets in Durian Milk Tea and Durian Coffee, available exclusively at the festival and via e-commerce.
This campaign continues Tealive’s tradition of celebrating Malaysian culture through innovative seasonal offerings.
“Our brand was “Born in Malaysia, Raised for the World” — our roots are here, but our vision is global. We will keep creating drinks that proudly carry our identity to every corner of the world,” added Loo.
