This collaboration, launched during foodpanda’s Bag Exchange programme at the Southgate Commercial Centre in Kuala Lumpur, aims to boost riders’ performance and income potential by helping them stay sharp and resilient on the job.
According to Mr. S. Allan, founder of Leonhart Coffee, this initiative reflects the brand’s mission to fuel not just the body but also the determination of delivery riders who power Malaysia’s food delivery economy.
“Our beverages are designed to energise without causing a caffeine crash — thanks to the blend of caffeine and Ashwagandha,” said Mr. Allan. “We want to give riders the stamina, focus, and confidence to master their day.”
The initiative also received praise from Mr. Shubham Saran, Director of Operations at foodpanda Malaysia. “Our delivery partners are the backbone of the ecosystem. Through our panda heart programme, we seek partnerships like this that uplift and empower our riders. We are proud to stand with Leonhart in showing riders that they matter,” Saran remarked during the official handover.
Beyond providing an energy boost, the campaign unveiled the inspiring stories of the riders themselves:
- Muhammad Azril, a former personal driver, now rides to support his young family. “It can be tiring,” he shared, “but Leonhart helps me stay alert. The taste and energy really keep me going.”
- Vasanth Kumar, an eight-year veteran and former lorry driver, delivers over 40 orders a day. “This job gives me flexibility, and Leonhart helps me stay sharp,” he said.
- Ye Junhong, once in sales, now finds purpose and independence as a rider. “Staying alert is everything when you’re on the road. I’m excited to try something that energises and calms me at the same time,” he said.
