Bangkok, 28 October 2026 – As financial institutions across Southeast Asia navigate growing regulatory demands, rising operational costs and increasing expectations for faster access to credit, the need for more integrated and intelligent lending solutions has become increasingly important.

Against this backdrop, Malaysia-based Juris Technologies Sdn Bhd (JurisTech) has entered into a strategic partnership with Thailand’s TBN Corporation Public Company Limited (TBN) to transform the country’s digital lending landscape through AI-powered, end-to-end lending solutions.

The collaboration brings together JurisTech’s extensive lending technology expertise and TBN’s local market knowledge and enterprise digital transformation capabilities, with a shared ambition to help financial institutions move beyond fragmented digital systems towards a fully connected lending ecosystem.

Built around the concept of “One Connected Lending Lifecycle”, the partnership aims to integrate every stage of the lending journey, from customer acquisition, onboarding and credit assessment to loan approval, disbursement, servicing, collections, debt restructuring, recovery and litigation.

Moving Beyond Fragmented Lending Systems

For many financial institutions, digital transformation has traditionally involved modernising individual processes rather than connecting the entire lending journey. While these initiatives have delivered improvements, disconnected systems can continue to create operational inefficiencies, repetitive data processing and delays in decision-making.

According to Panayu Sirikrachangsri, Chief Executive Officer of TBN, Thailand’s lending industry faces several interconnected challenges, including limited access to credit, rising operational costs, incomplete borrower information and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. These challenges are further complicated when technology platforms operate independently, requiring repeated data transfers and manual intervention.

By integrating AI-powered capabilities across the lending lifecycle, the partnership seeks to address these inefficiencies while strengthening credit assessment, risk management and regulatory responsiveness. AI applications will support automated document processing, more informed lending decisions and improved workflow management, while maintaining human oversight and control.

“What we aim to do is help lenders achieve both Right to Play and Right to Win, operating in compliance with regulatory requirements and managing risk systematically, while improving the efficiency of the lending process through faster decisions and reduced steps and costs. This enables lenders to manage their business effectively and improve profitability. We bring technology and connected data across the lending lifecycle to help make both possible and enable lenders to compete more effectively,” said Panayu.

AI as an Enabler of Smarter Lending

For JurisTech, the collaboration reinforces its conviction that meaningful transformation requires more than simply introducing artificial intelligence into existing operations.

“At JurisTech, we believe the future of lending will not be defined by AI alone, but by how effectively AI is applied across the entire credit lifecycle, from customer acquisition and onboarding to decisioning, servicing and collections,” said See Wai Hun, Chief Executive Officer of JurisTech.

With more than 23 years of experience, JurisTech has delivered over 130 projects for more than 60 banks and financial institutions. Its expertise was further recognised when it received the Asia’s Best Lending Solution 2026 award at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence.

The partnership represents an opportunity to extend this experience into Thailand through TBN’s established technological capabilities and understanding of the local financial ecosystem.

“Thailand is one of the region’s most progressive financial markets. Through our partnership with TBN, we are combining JurisTech’s deep lending expertise and proven 360° AI Lending Technology with TBN’s strong local presence, technological capabilities and understanding of the Thai market. Together, we aim to help banks and financial institutions move beyond isolated digital initiatives towards truly connected, intelligent lending, enabling faster decisions, stronger risk management, greater operational efficiency and better customer experiences,” See added.

Expanding Opportunities for Non-Bank Lenders

While the partnership will serve both banks and non-bank financial institutions, its initial focus will be on Thailand’s growing non-bank lending segment. Non-bank lenders play an important role in extending credit access to consumers and small businesses, particularly those with limited conventional credit information. However, they also face mounting pressure to balance accessibility, operational efficiency, responsible lending and regulatory compliance.

Through connected data and AI-enabled decision-making, the collaboration aims to help these institutions assess customers more effectively, reduce repetitive processes and respond more flexibly to changing market requirements. Beyond the technology itself, the partnership reflects a broader shift in financial services towards treating lending as one continuous, interconnected customer journey rather than a series of isolated transactions.

For TBN and JurisTech, the memorandum of understanding marks the beginning of that journey, combining regional technology expertise with local execution capabilities to build a smarter, more efficient and adaptable lending ecosystem in Thailand.
