KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, 28 SEPTEMBER 2026 - The Kuala Lumpur summit will bring together senior business and technology leaders to examine how organisations are moving AI from experimentation to real-world deployment across customer experience, sales and marketing.

ConverXion KL 2026 will return to Kuala Lumpur on 15 October, bringing together business and technology leaders to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is being deployed across customer experience, sales and marketing.

Organised by Mimin and held at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, the summit will take place under the theme “AI in Action”, shifting the conversation from what AI could potentially do to what businesses are actually implementing.

The programme will focus on practical applications, implementation decisions and lessons from organisations putting AI into real-world use.

According to Mimin CEO and Founder Joseph Simbar, business leaders are increasingly looking beyond AI demonstrations and possibilities towards understanding what works, how solutions are implemented and whether successful approaches can be replicated.

“The AI conversation has moved. Business leaders no longer just want to know what is possible; they want to understand what is working, how it was implemented, and whether it can be replicated,” he said.

Three Practical Lenses for AI Adoption

ConverXion KL 2026 will examine AI through three practical lenses: execution, application and implication.

The execution aspect will explore how organisations move AI initiatives from concepts into deployment, including implementation timelines and decisions around building AI solutions internally or buying existing technologies.

The application side will look at where AI is already changing customer interactions and commercial processes, including customer experience, sales and marketing.

The programme will also consider the wider implications of AI adoption, including trust, data privacy and the changing role of people within AI-enabled organisations.

Topics will include conversational AI, customer experience, omnichannel engagement, personalisation and customer loyalty, AI-powered sales and marketing, AI ethics and data privacy.

AI Across Customer Experience and Business Operations

Rather than focusing on a single technology or industry, the summit will bring together perspectives from multiple sectors to examine how AI adoption differs across operating environments.

This includes exploring how businesses are using AI to improve customer interactions, strengthen engagement and support commercial processes.

The approach reflects a wider shift in the AI conversation, as businesses move from experimentation towards implementation and seek to understand where the technology can create measurable value.

ConverXion’s official programme similarly positions the 2026 event around real deployments, implementation timelines, build-versus-buy decisions and live use cases across industries including retail, banking and healthcare.

Bringing Decision-Makers Into the Conversation

Confirmed speakers include Chee Mun Foong, CEO of YTL AI Labs; Bernard Yong, CXO of Mah Sing Berhad; Dario Bianchi, CPO of Mindvalley; and Dr Devina Njoo, Patient Experience Director of EMC Healthcare.

Mimin COO and Co-Founder Bayu Eka Putra said the value of ConverXion lies not only in the technology being discussed, but also in the people involved in the conversation.

“What makes ConverXion valuable is not only the technology being discussed, but the people having the conversation,” he said.

He added that the participants are responsible for decisions involving customers, revenue, operations and business transformation, allowing discussions to move beyond what AI can theoretically do towards what businesses are already doing with it.

Building on ConverXion KL 2025

The 2026 edition builds on last year’s ConverXion KL, which attracted more than 150 delegates from over 40 Malaysian and regional organisations.

The 2025 event featured more than 20 speakers, representatives from 15 industries and 10 roundtable discussions. The 2026 programme will continue this format through a combination of keynotes, fireside conversations, panel discussions and facilitated roundtables.

The event is designed to give delegates opportunities to hear from industry leaders while exchanging experiences directly with other business decision-makers.

The official ConverXion programme reports that more than 70% of its 2025 attendees held C-level, director or head-of-department roles, reflecting the event’s focus on senior decision-makers involved in customer experience, digital transformation, marketing, operations and technology.

ConverXion KL 2026

ConverXion KL 2026 will take place on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

With AI increasingly moving into everyday business processes, the summit will provide a platform for leaders to examine the practical realities of implementation, from customer experience and sales to marketing, data privacy and organisational change.

Rather than focusing solely on the possibilities of AI, this year’s event aims to examine the lessons emerging from organisations already putting the technology into practice.

Registration is available through the official ConverXion website.
