The recognition placed a Malaysian-developed AI platform among a select group of globally validated technology innovators and reflected the growing presence of Malaysia’s digital and engineering capabilities on the international stage. Across Southeast Asia, only three companies received the distinction, highlighting both the competitiveness of the global field and Malaysia’s expanding role in enterprise artificial intelligence and advanced software development.
Supporting Enterprise AI Deployment at Scale

The award recognised Glem.ai’s enterprise AI platform, which helps organisations move artificial intelligence from experimentation into production by providing a secure operating layer that integrates data, AI models, workflows and governance across on-premises, private cloud and hybrid environments.
While artificial intelligence technologies have continued to evolve rapidly, many enterprises and government agencies have faced persistent challenges when scaling AI into production. Concerns surrounding data security, regulatory compliance, fragmented AI tools, unclear return on investment and limited in-house expertise have often slowed adoption, particularly in regulated and mission-critical environments.
Glem.ai was developed to address these structural barriers by functioning as a secure operating layer for enterprise AI. The platform enables organisations to deploy, manage and scale artificial intelligence while retaining full ownership of data, governance control and operational transparency.
By unifying data pipelines, AI models, workflows, analytics and governance within a single environment, organisations are able to transition from isolated pilot projects to measurable production-grade outcomes, reducing complexity and ensuring consistent, auditable AI operations across departments.
Since its launch in 2025, Glem.ai has established deployments and partnerships across energy, manufacturing, sustainability, finance and healthcare sectors, including engagements with publicly listed conglomerates, multinational enterprises and government-linked organisations.
In Malaysia, the platform is distributed exclusively through Agmo Holdings Berhad. Beyond Malaysia, Glem.ai has maintained active footprints across the Philippines, the Middle East and Brazil, with expansion initiatives underway.
Leadership Behind the Platform
The Talent Innovation Award also reflected the technical leadership behind the platform’s development.
Chief Technology Officer Alvin Chua, who brings more than two decades of software engineering experience, played a central role in shaping Glem.ai’s enterprise architecture and production reliability. His background spans competitive programming, large-scale system design and applied artificial intelligence.
His expertise reinforced Glem.ai’s focus on building secure and dependable AI systems designed to operate beyond prototypes and into real-world enterprise deployment.
Highlighting Malaysia’s Innovation Capabilities
Glem.ai’s recognition at ITEC 2025 represented more than a company milestone. It also highlighted the growing presence of Malaysian-built technology within the global innovation landscape.
As Malaysia continues strengthening its digital economy and knowledge-driven industries, achievements such as this demonstrate the country’s increasing competitiveness in enterprise artificial intelligence, software engineering and cross-border technology collaboration.
The recognition aligns with Malaysia’s broader ambition to position technology and innovation as long-term pillars of economic growth while reinforcing confidence in locally developed platforms competing alongside global counterparts.
Expanding Cross-Border Collaboration
As a Talent Innovation Award recipient, Glem.ai gained access to a comprehensive innovation support framework within Beijing’s Chaoyang District. This included eligibility for technology innovation funding channels, enterprise partnership opportunities and incubation resources within dedicated innovation parks.
These mechanisms are designed to accelerate commercialisation and support collaboration between award-winning technology companies and China’s enterprise ecosystem.
Building on this momentum, Glem.ai has been advancing initiatives to establish a co-creation presence in Beijing’s Chaoyang Business District. The initiative aims to enable Malaysian and Chinese enterprises to jointly pilot artificial intelligence solutions through a two-way validation approach.
This model introduces proven ASEAN enterprise workflows into China while adapting China-developed innovations for deployment across Southeast Asia and other international markets.
Building a Globally Competitive Platform
“Winning at ITEC 2025 is a meaningful moment not just for Glem.ai, but for what it represents about Malaysia’s ability to build enterprise technology that competes and wins on the global stage. Our focus has always been on solving the real barriers that stop enterprises and institutions from deploying AI at scale: data sovereignty, governance, and production reliability. This recognition affirms that the approach we are taking is the right one, and we intend to carry that forward,” said Ryan Tay, Chief Executive Officer of Glem.ai.
With international validation, expanding enterprise adoption and strengthened access to one of Asia’s most active innovation ecosystems, Glem.ai continues positioning itself as a globally competitive enterprise AI platform emerging from Malaysia while contributing to the country’s growing reputation as a hub for technology excellence and responsible artificial intelligence development.
