Small Mission Enterprise (S.M.E) was launched in 2018 and the initiative was conducted in Sekinchan. SME as a community doesn’t focus only on business relationships but also on how to engage the society at large with dynamic events.
The first Small Mission Enterprise (S.M.E) was one of the most fruitful events for all those present. Other than being introduced to new products and services by insurance company Prudential, the 37-strong cast of entrepreneurs took time out from their busy schedules to tour the prominent coastal town of Sekinchan. Being a fun-filled trip, the entrepreneurs travelled around and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Sekinchan, from visiting the famed 3D Art Gallery, to checking out Ah Ma House and touring the local factory which produces rice, the team had a whale of a time. But there is a time for fun and games and a time to conduct their mission which was to present aid to the Rumah Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Sabak Bernam Parit 4 Sekinchan. The team stopped by to drop various forms of aid including rice, clothes, food, and donations in the form of Qu Points, presented to the orphanage by MALAYSIA SME® Director, Lynda Lee.
Moving on, the recent Small Mission Enterprise (S.M.E) is a two-day trip aimed at strengthening and building relationships with other SME business leaders, which translates to brand enhancement. It provides attendees with the opportunity to get away from the stresses of city life and work, while learning more about SMEs in other states of the country. In this getaway, SMEs will be visiting the vibrant town of Muar, Johor. Some of the activities planned include sightseeing around the town and visiting a renowned SME in Muar. This concept is supported and organised by SME Sitcom and will be publicised. As SNEs, we live in a community of businesses, yet we are also individuals that are able to give back to society by lending our support to others.
