KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is continuing to hold regular sessions with small-and-medium enterprise (SMEs) in a move to share knowledge and expertise in branding and marketing.
It also shares best business practices on requirements for producing Tesco's own brands, the hypermarket said in a statement. Tesco Commercial Director for Food Jamie Walker said the market has become competitive and the public expects products of high standards.
"We regularly meet our SME suppliers to share information and knowledge to help nurture and build the business of our present and prospective suppliers and ensure their products meet the expectations," Walker was quoted as saying on Friday after the hypermarket conducted a one-day briefing on best business practices for its suppliers. -- BERNAMA
