Sabah domestic investment seminar 2011
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 - The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) and SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp Malaysia) in cooperation with the Ministry of Industrial Development (MID) Sabah will be organising a domestic seminar with specific focus on the manufacturing and services sectors.
The seminar will be held on Tuesday, Oct 25, 2011 from 9am to 5pm at The Magellan Sutera, Sutera Habour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The seminar, which is supported, by the Ministry of International Trade & industry (Miti) aims to provide the latest updates on the government policies and support services facilities for business community in Sabah and to highlight and promote the investment opportunities available to investors.
The seminar will be officiated by Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman, Chief Minister of Sabah and Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade & Industry (Miti) will be delivering the keynote address.
This seminar has proved its effectiveness as a platform to network and create business opportunities for local companies. In 2010, the seminar has attracted around 600 participants from multinational companies MNCs and also many investors from Sabah. To date, 150 MNCs, universities and other related companies have expressed their interest to be part of this annual seminar.
Participants can expect to have an excellent opportunity to network with local and foreign businesses and key government agencies, and exchange ideas on innovation and creativity to drive further growth.
