Ban on heavy vehicles on roads during Chinese New Year

The Road Transport Department (RTD) has announced a ban on heavy vehicles from using all roads for four days during the Chinese New Year in 2012. The ban will take effect on January 21-22 and January 28-29, 2012. The objective of the restriction is to reduce accidents caused by heavy vehicles and keep the traffic flowing.
