Over 200 foreign investors for Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Convention
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- Over 200 foreign investors from China, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore and Vietnam will participate in 'Business Matching' sessions at Chinese Women Entrepreneurs and the National Economic Transformation Convention here on Friday.
Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Heng Seai Kie said the participation of foreign investors is expected to create a platform for local Chinese women entrepreneurs eyeing opportunities to expand business to the countries.
Over 1,000 Chinese women entrepreneurs are expected to attend the one day convention at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) to be opened by the Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor," she told reporters here Monday.
The convention will cover areas such as tourism, food processing, education, health and beauty, clothing and accessories and electrical equipment.
