Matrade To Improve Service Delivery With New Portal

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 25  (Bernama) -- The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) will launch a new portal tomorrow to improve service delivery.

Its information technology and strategic planning division director, Raja Nor Zihan, said the portal design and development approach was enhanced with simplicity in mind and to be more client-centric.

"Aiming to provide conveniences to users, its layout is designed to be more user-friendly and the content is categorised according to primary clients -- the Malaysian exporters and foreign buyers," she said in a media briefing here today.

The portal, accessible to the general public and Matrade members, is also available in the mobile version.

Among new contents and features is Matrade Tube, an online medium for Matrade to reach out to Malaysian exporters and to assist them expand export market, and MyExport which is accessible only to Matrade members, providing market intelligence and company profiles, among others.

The mobile portal was designed to be more mobile-friendly with minimal graphics for faster access to trade-related information.
