MIDA To Organise Seminar On Food Processing Industry

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) will organise a one-day seminar on the food processing industry on Aug 2 in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

The seminar would update participants on investment opportunities, government policies, incentives, facilities and support services in the industry, MIDA said in a statement on Friday.

Chairman Tan Sri Dr Sulaiman Mahbob was quoted as saying that the seminar was an excellent opportunity for both local and foreign businesses to keep abreast of the industry's latest developments.

"Participants can garner valuable insights from various government bodies such as MIDA, the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, SME Corp, Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumers and the Ministry of Health," he added.
