Francis Yeoh To Head Judging Panel For Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Award
Francis Yeoh has been appointed as the chairman of the judging panel forthe Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year awards to be held in June this year.
During the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award here today, Yeoh said he was honoured and humbled by the invitation, and accepted it with pride as a Malaysian.
Each year, country winners of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year from around the world gather for the World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Monte Carlo.
Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Abdul Rauf Rashid said the company was very "proud and pleased to have a very prominent and successful Malaysian entrepreneur as the chairman of the judging panel.
"The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year event is a global business awards programme that is celebrated in more than 140 cities in 50 countries around the world.
It was launched in Malaysia in 2002.
Today's event was officiated by Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Mukhriz Tun Mahathir.--BERNAMA
