KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 (Bernama) -- The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) will lead Malaysia's biggest delegation to the five-day Hannover Trade Fair in Germany beginning April 4.
With help from the Kulim Technology Park Corporation, this year will be the 16th consecutive year that FMM is coordinating Malaysia's participation in the fair which was first held in 1947.
"We participate in this fair regularly to strengthen our presence and display our seriousness in conducting international business," said PolypArts Sdn Bhd managing director Lie Yew Aw, whose company is taking part for the sixth time in the Hannover Fair.
Fifty members from 16 Malaysian companies from engineering services, manufacturing, oil and gas, power, and research and development sectors have signed up for the annual event which draws over 6,000 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors.
These companies will showcase products ranging from manufacturing components, power devices to anti-cancer compounds at the three leading trade shows, namely industrial supply, energy and research and technology under the auspices of the fair.
FMM encourages Malaysian companies to adopt similar competitive mindsets. Companies interested to visit the show can contact FMM at 03-62867200.
