Career and Entrepreneurship Day, Platform for Young Generation to Find Jobs - Nor Mohamed
TASEK GELUGOR, April 23 (Bernama) -- The career and entrepreneurship day programme is capable of becoming an important platform for the young generation to choose a career which suits their interest, capability and ambition, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop.
He said that the programme, now in its second year running, received encouraging response among job seekers, as well as companies keen to offer employment and training for potential employees.
Speaking to reporters after opening the programme here today, he said the two-day programme involved the participation of small and medium companies, as well as government-linked companies.
"The two-day programme offers more than 2,000 employment and training offers for job seekers," he added.
The programme, he said, also provided opportunities for the participating small and medium industries to promote their products and services. --BERNAMA
