Axon 313 Inks MOU On Technology Cooperation At Hannover IT Trade Fair
HANNOVER (Germany), March 7 (Bernama) --Cyberjaya-based Axon 313 Sdn Bhd has inked a memorandum of understanding(MoU)with a German technology company at the CeBIT Fair of Hannover.
The event is the world's largest and most prestigious
event for the information technology (IT) sector.
The German company, Screen-Tech, is located in Hamburg and manufactures
projection screens while Axon 313 provides expertise in software.
"We have the patent and are also the owners of the projection
screens," said Juergen Daszinnies, the proprietor of Screen-Tech, in an
interview with Bernama.
"The terms of the MoU state that Axon will offer the software and we, the
technology," Daszinnies added.
Screen-Tech's projection screens are supplied worldwide. A new feature of the
cooperation will be in the area of 3-D technology, which is considered a
futuristic trend.
"The 3-D technology is used, mainly, for home entertainment.
We are the first company in Germany to produce such products," Daszinnies
highlighted.
Faisal Khawaja, Axon 313's chief executive officer who signed the MoU,
indicated that the company would like to distribute Screen-Tech's products in
Malaysia.
He said that the MoU which will be reviewed after a year, has "good
potential" for the long-term.
"The biggest advantage we offer is the competitive pricing over other
suppliers, as well quality work," he added.
